Bulletins

There will be a cheer "tryout" meeting session after school April 1, 2016 for all those interested in attending UCA summer camp. (July 29-Aug 1, 2016). Please wear "Cheer gear".
There will be  a flash sale on yearbooks during school April 7th and 8th. Bring your coupon and $50 to Mrs. Ransom, first come first serve.  
The Rutland Area Counselor are sponsoring a College Fair on April 6th at Castleton University in Spartan Gymnasium.  We will have a bus from FHUHS depart at 9:45 and return at 10:30.  All interested students please sign up in the Counseling Office.
Lexi Quenneville was just recently named to the Twin State Basketball team. This is a game that is played every year between the best 12 girls in Vermont versus the best 12 from New Hampshire.
The marching band needs some help! They are looking for a flat bed, or any other devices that could work as a parade float.  If you have an idea or interest in helping contact Janeea Choiniere.
Yearbook will be on sale until May 16th. staff members $45 each.
Summer Programs and Opportunities:  There are a large number of summer opportunities offered by colleges and other organizations available for high school students.  We have binders in the Guidance Office or visit https://sites.google.com/a/arsu.org/guidance/other-pages/student-programs  for more detailed descriptions.

Metal Shop Items For Sale!! Fair Haven Union High School will be holding a silent auction of the metals shop equipment on Saturday, March 19, 2016. The auction will be held at the school, beginning at 8 am and concluding with bidding closing at 1 pm. Items to include welding equipment, sheet metal tools, and hand tools.
Please join us at the 5th Annual Transition Fair, sponsored by the Addison County Core Transition Team.   This is a great opportunity for students and families to connect with people who will support and encourage their transition to adulthood and independent life.  This fair is for any student who might need support after high school.  Participating organizations will offer information and programs related to employment, training, post-secondary education, recreation, independent living and a variety of community resources.
Rutland Regional College Fair at Castleton University on April 6th Time: TBD
Congratulations to our four senior members of the Scholars' Bowl team (Charlie Cacciatore, Trevor Reck, Zachary Caraballo and Isaac Nichols) on their 250-120 win over Rutland High School at the PEGTV Academic Showdown!  Watch our players take on Proctor High School in the next round. The match will air Thursday, March 24 at 7pm on Channel 20.
