~ VSAC Days:  October 19

~ Senior Pictures and Senior Pages are Due by October 21st.

~ Technology Safety Presentation for parents and the community October 19th 7:00-8:15 in the FHU Cafeteria with refreshments.

~ Effective January 4, 2016 lunch prices will increase to $2.50.  This has been set by the USDA  (see letter from Superintendent).

~ Are there times when you feel like you're going insane?  Mr. Greenlese and Mr. Beste do every Wednesday morning.  Join us from 7:00-7:30 before school and get insane with Insanity... a workout that promises to make you sore... the good sore.   This workout is for everyone... young & old, athletes & non-athletes, etc...  -- Get Fitter ~ Stay Fitter

~ France trip students will be running the concession stand at the Benson   Haunted Hayride on Friday and Saturday night from 6-close.  We will have lots of goodies and we hope to see you there!

~ VSAC's Gear Up program is looking for students in 9-11 grade, are      college-bound/interested and are eligible for FHRL. If you have any students in mind contact the guidance office.

Slater week in Review and look ahead!
Hello Slater Nation!
Last week saw lots of great things happen at Slater Nation!  Our students and staff continued greatness in all aspects of education!
Field Hockey
The Varsity Slater Field Hockey team had an incredible game on Tuesday, 10/6/15, with a 2-1 win over Springfield High School!  The first goal was scored by Makayla Ackert to make it a 1-0 lead, and with just two minutes left in the game,  Briley Blackbird scored to make it 2-1 for Slater Nation!  Great Work ladies!
Varsity Girls Soccer Senior Night!
On Tuesday, 10/6/15, our Senior Girls had their Senior Game.  Before the game, family, friends, school and administration and Slater Students honored our 14 Senior Girls!  Congrats and a HUGE THANKS YOU TO THE FOLLOWING LADIES:

NECAP Science 2015
Congrats to our Slaters!  On the 2015 Science NECAP, Slater Nation received an Overall Proficiency of 50% as compared to the State average of 32%.  AWESOME SLATER NATION!

Varsity Boys Soccer
Our Varsity boys Soccer Team has won the last three games. They have improved to 7-3-1 and stand in second place in the M.V.L. ranks!  Keep up the work and keep grindin into the playoffs!
Cross Country
The cross country team had their MVL home meet on 10/6/15, and for our six seniors, it was their last home meet for Slater Nation!  Both teams won the event out of four teams present for the day.  Halle Coloutti dominated the field on the girls side, and Joe Ouimette came in third place, pacing the Slater boys!
