PAYING
IT FORWARD WITH WOODWORKING:
In this class, we have made it our goal to spend some time
working on projects to benefit others.
With our knowledge of woodworking, we will complete projects and put
them up for sale for the community to bid on.
We will then take that money and donate it to a NGO (Non-Governmental
Organization) of our choice.
The projects we
are working on are mainly unfinished projects from previous years. Our goal is to finish these projects to their
full potential.
We have researched many Non-Profit
Organizations to see which ones put most of their money toward their program,
have high ratings, and we think are great causes to donate to.
If you are
interested in any of our items – you may place a bid by emailing one of the
following addresses:
cara.cummings@arsu.org
or Anthony.walsh@arsu.org, or call
(802) 265-4966 Extension 212.
Bids will be accepted
for all items until Thursday – April 30.
Attached are photos of
the two items up for bid currently.
The table has a starting bid of $35 and the nightstand has a
starting bid of $25. Both of these can
also be seen in the Trophy Case in the Lobby.
