 NOTE: Parents / Guardians will have 2 methods to fund their student’s account:    
1)  Go to: – You may set up an online account  using a Credit / Debit card to make deposits into your student’s account. 
2)You may send a check with your student made payable to the Fair Haven School Lunch Program.   
Please include the student’s name in the Memo line.  Cash will also be accepted, however this does slow the lines.

ANNUAL STUDENT ART EXHIBIT – will be open until FRIDAY 5/2 at the Chaffee Art Center – 16 S. Main Street – Rutland.  The gallery is open THURSDAY & FRIDAY, Noon – 6 p.m. and SATURDAYS, Noon – 5 p.m..

FYI – Please note that the POPS CONCERT will be held on Wednesday – April 30 at 7 p.m..  Mark Your Calendar! 

The Center For Cartoon Studies in White River Junction is offering a $900 Scholarship for their one week workshop “Create Comics” this July 7 – 11DEADLINE: (must be received by) May 2, 2014  Details available in the Library.

BREAKING GOOD NEWS!!!  FYI: WCAX was at FHU Tuesday - and spent the morning with Mrs. LaPlaca - as we CELEBRATE her 55 years of teaching in our District!!!!!

The feature story is scheduled to air on the Thursday evening (4/24) newscasts, as well as Friday (4/25) morning.  Mark your calendars - spread the word to tune in!   

ART CLUB:  Will begin meeting every  WEDNESDAY after school.    
COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Meet WED & FRIDAY mornings at 8 a.m. – in Ms. Gallagher or Mrs. Nicholson room.

We will be selling JUNIOR PROM (April 26, 2014) tickets!  See Mrs. Ransom for before school, and Juniors will be selling in the Cafeteria A-C lunches.  Ticket cost is $15 for one / two for $25.

WELLNESS COMMITTEE – next meeting will be held on FRIDAY – 5/16 the Conference Room.

APRIL 21 – APRIL 25:  There will be a battle of the classes (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors) penny war going on in the Cafeteria during 5th Period!  The winning class will earn 5% of the proceeds.  The rest of the money will go towards helping a fellow community member in need. 
Penny War Point Breakdown: PENNIES = 2 points / NICKELS = -5 points / DIMES = -10 points / QUARTERS = -25 points / DOLLARS = -100 points

 Anyone playing a spring sport must have an up-to-date physical on file with the school nurse, as well as the appropriate concussion education release form on file with the athletic department.  A signed permission form for each season must also be on file with the coach.  Download the permissions form and board policy here.
