 NOTE: Parents / Guardians will have 2 methods to fund their student’s account:    
1)  Go to: www.MySchoolBucks.com – You may set up an online account  using a Credit / Debit card to make deposits into your student’s account. 
2)You may send a check with your student made payable to the Fair Haven School Lunch Program.   
Please include the student’s name in the Memo line.  Cash will also be accepted, however this does slow the lines.

The LIBRARY will be CLOSED Tuesday afternoon (4/1) due to a Faculty Meeting. 
Open Wednesday for our usual hours – 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.. 

ART DEPARTMENT NEWS:
The Chaffee Art Center is pleased to announce the opening of our ANNUAL STUDENT ART EXHIBIT – which features the talents of area students from both private and public schools – as well as homeschooled children who are in grades K-12.  The exhibit will be open from FRIDAY 3/28 to FRIDAY 5/2 at the Chaffee Art Center – 16 S. Main Street – Rutland.  The gallery is open THURSDAY & FRIDAY, Noon – 6 p.m. and SATURDAYS, Noon – 5 p.m..
FHU will have 13 students in the show this year!

BLOOD DRIVE:

CENTER FOR CARTOON STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP:
The Center For Cartoon Studies in White River Junction is offering a $900 Scholarship for their one week workshop “Create Comics” this July 7 – 11.  Details available in the Library.  

CHORUS:
KEYNOTES: Rehearsals TUESDAY & THURSDAY mornings before school in the Chorus Room 8 a.m. – 8:20 a.m..
ATTENTION WEDNESDAY CHORUS STUDENTS:  An additional chorus rehearsal will be held Wednesday mornings in the Chorus Room from 8 – 8:20 a.m..  Please try to attend.   

CLUB NEWS: 
ART CLUB:  Will begin meeting every  WEDNESDAY after school.    
COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Meet WED & FRIDAY mornings at 8 a.m. – in Ms. Gallagher or Mrs. Nicholson room. 
DIY SCIENCE CLUB:  Specializing in the Amazing World of Scientific Exploration!  THURSDAYS - 3 p.m. in Mr. Worthing’s Room
OVX:  Meet 2nd WEDNESDAYS @ 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.   
SCHOLARS BOWL:   Meet after school in Mrs. Cornell’s room.

JUNIOR PROM TICKET SALES:
We will be selling JUNIOR PROM (April 26, 2014) tickets!  See Mrs. Ransom for before school, and Juniors will be selling in the Cafeteria A-C lunches.  Ticket cost is $15 for one / two for $25.

NOT ON TOBACCO GROUP:
Are you interested in quitting smoking or chew?  Would you like to try?  Mrs. Little is starting a Not On Tobacco group.  They will meet weekly for 10 weeks during the school dayThere will be snacks and incentive prizes.  Please see Mrs. Little in Guidance if you are interested.

SPORTS CORNER: 
 Anyone interested in playing a spring sport must have an up-to-date physical on file with the school nurse, as well as the appropriate concussion education release form on file with the athletic department.  A signed permission form for each season must also be on file with the coach.
