ART DEPARTMENT NEWS:
The Chaffee Art Center is pleased to announce the opening of our ANNUAL STUDENT ART EXHIBIT – which features the talents of area students from both private and public schools – as well as homeschooled children who are in grades K-12.  This exhibit will be compiled of a wide range of medias including but not limited to photography, ceramics, paintings, collages, and mixed media.  The sheer creativity and innovation that our youth uses in their art creation have made this exhibition a community highlight. 
The exhibit will be open from FRIDAY 3/28 to FRIDAY 5/2 at the Chaffee Art Center – 16 S. Main Street – Rutland.
The gallery is open THURSDAY & FRIDAY, Noon – 6 p.m. and SATURDAYS, Noon – 5 p.m..
Edible treats and refreshments will be served.  TY to Stewart’s Shops and the Rutland Herald for the sponsorship of this exhibition.
FHU will have 13 students in the show this year!

CENTER FOR CARTOON STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP:
The Center For Cartoon Studies in White River Junction is offering a $900 Scholarship for their one week workshop “Create Comics” this July 7 – 11.  Details available in the Library.

FHUHS will be holding their ANNUAL Diane Flood Memorial Scholarship game on Thursday – 3/27 at 7 p.m.. 
This is a basketball game between FACULTY and SENIORS – with all proceeds going toward the Diane Flood Memorial Scholarship.
Tickets are $5 for Adults - $3 for Students
  This is a worthy event that supports the scholarship.  Every year a worthy Senior receives $1,000 from this fund!  Please come and attend!  A fun evening!

ART DEPARTMENT NEWS:
The Chaffee Art Center is pleased to announce the opening of our ANNUAL STUDENT ART EXHIBIT – which features the talents of area students from both private and public schools – as well as homeschooled children who are in grades K-12.  This exhibit will be compiled of a wide range of medias including but not limited to photography, ceramics, paintings, collages, and mixed media.  The sheer creativity and innovation that our youth uses in their art creation have made this exhibition a community highlight. 

The exhibit will be open from FRIDAY 3/28 to FRIDAY 5/2 at the Chaffee Art Center – 16 S. Main Street – Rutland.
The gallery is open THURSDAY & FRIDAY, Noon – 6 p.m. and SATURDAYS, Noon – 5 p.m..
Please join us for our Opening Reception on Friday – 3/28 from 5-7 p.m. at the Chaffee Art Center.  Edible treats and refreshments will be served.  TY to Stewart’s Shops and the Rutland Herald for the sponsorship of this exhibition.

DIANE FLOOD SCHOLARSHIP GAME
FHUHS will be holding their ANNUAL Diane Flood Memorial Scholarship game on Thursday – 3/27 at 7 p.m.. 

This is a basketball game between FACULTY and SENIORS – with all proceeds going toward the Diane Flood Memorial Scholarship
Tickets are $5 for Adults - $3 for Students
  This is a worthy event that supports the scholarship.  Every year a worthy Senior receives $1,000 from this fund!  Please come and attend.

AP TEST REGISTRATION:  The deadline to register for the AP test is FRIDAY – March 28.  Please see Mrs. Anderson in Guidance to register.
