 NOTE: Parents / Guardians will have 2 methods to fund their student’s account:    
1)  Go to: www.MySchoolBucks.com – You may set up an online account  using a Credit / Debit card to make deposits into your student’s account. 
2)You may send a check with your student made payable to the Fair Haven School Lunch Program.   
Please include the student’s name in the Memo line.  Cash will also be accepted, however this does slow the lines.

ART DEPARTMENT NEWS: 
Congratulations to the final Top 10 Standings on placing in our Weekly Sketch contestEach week these students have consistently showcased their talent, accumulating points throughout the semester:
1st Ella Patterson / 2nd Olivia Cacciatore / 3rd Hilary Dubois / 4th Kelsi Bean / 5th Tiana Sanchez / 6th Emily Hughes / 7th Ellena Boelke / 8th Maria Ieremias / 9th Sophia Rampone / 10th Mallory Hooker & Rachael Butrimas 
ALSO – there is STUDENT ARTWORK on display at the ARSU Central Office!  Work will be up for the remainder of the month – so if you happen to pass by please take a moment to check it out.  There are some beautiful portraits from the drawing classes, as well as work from the Independent Study students. 

CHEERLEADER NEWS:
Rutland Competition SAVE THE DATE - Will take place on Saturday - February 1 at Rutland Middle School.  Time TBA. 

CLUB NEWS: 
ART CLUB:  Will begin meeting every  WEDNESDAY after school.    
COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Meet WED & FRIDAY mornings at 8 a.m. – in Ms. Gallagher or Mrs. Nicholson room. 
DIY SCIENCE CLUB:  Specializing in the Amazing World of Scientific Exploration!  THURSDAYS - 3 p.m. in Mr. Worthing’s Room
OVX:  Meet 2nd WEDNESDAYS @ 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.   
POETRY OUT LOUD:  Meets Monday after school in Mrs. Hadeka’s room (120).   All are welcome!
SCHOLARS BOWL:   Meet after school in Mrs. Cornell’s room.

INTRO TO COLLEGE STUDIES:  There is still time to sign up for the Spring Session at CSC.  Starting Monday 2/3! 

PSATs will be distributed during the week of 2/10 to those students who did not receive them during Exams. 
Each student will receive an appointment slip during their T.A. on WEDNESDAY 2/5 – with the date and time they will report to the Computer Lab.  If anyone needs their scores BEFORE then to work w/an outside college counselor, please come to Guidance.

GAP YEAR FAIR: Held at S.Burlington HS on Thursday – 1/30.  The event will be held at 550 Dorset Street, S.Burlington from 6-8:30 p.m..  More information about Dynamy Internship Year can be found at www.internshipyear.org or for more upcoming gap year fairs visit www.usagapyearfairs.org

NIGHT OF THE ELEPHANT III:
Come Audition for the 3rd Annual TALENT SHOW – being performed at FHUHS on THURSDAY – 2/13!
Auditions are February 4, 5, 6 (Tuesday – Thursday) from 3 – 6 p.m..  Fill out an Audition Form – available on our Facebook Page or at FHUHS!  Return to Mr. Roach, e-mail, or mail to FHUHS by MONDAY – 2/3!  Questions?  E-mail: proach@arsu.org
