The schedule will consist of 4 days per week – NO TUESDAY
(When 2 teachers are assigned duty – both are required to be in attendance – TY)

 NOTE: Parents / Guardians will have 2 methods to fund their student’s account:    
1)  Go to: www.MySchoolBucks.com – You may set up an online account  using a Credit / Debit card to make deposits into your student’s account. 
2)You may send a check with your student made payable to the Fair Haven School Lunch Program.   
Please include the student’s name in the Memo line.  Cash will also be accepted, however this does slow the lines.

ART CLUB:  Will begin meeting every  WEDNESDAY after school.

DIY SCIENCE CLUB:  Specializing in the Amazing World of Scientific Exploration!  THURSDAYS - 3 p.m. in Mr. Worthing’s Room
OVX:  Meet 2nd WEDNESDAYS @ 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.   
POETRY OUT LOUD:  Meets Monday after school in Mrs. Hadeka’s room (120).   All are welcome!
SCHOLARS BOWL:   Meets after school in Mrs. Cornell’s room.

PSAT RESULTS:  To all JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES who took the PSAT:  the results will be distributed after December break.  Students will be given passes identifying the date and period they will report to the computer lab to receive the results.  Guidance will go to Stafford to distribute the results to students who attend there.

PROJECT GRADUATION: 
BOTTLE DRIVE:  Liberty Street Market is accepting returnable donations for the 2014 PROJECT GRADUATION! 
Please return your bottles as a donation.  TY 
In addition the group will be conducting a bottle drive throughout our area – stay tuned for details!

BASKET PARTY:  Is set for SATURDAY – January 11, 2014!
MARK YOUR CALENDAR
This should be a major fundraiser for our group!  We’re hoping ALL SENIOR’s families will prepare a basket for this fundraiser.  Donated baskets can be turned into the Office.  We need them dropped off by Monday – January 6

The SLATE PIT, your Slater School Store – will be OPEN before  school, during Period 5, and 15 minutes after school  for your shopping convenience!  Please stop by and see what we have to offer.

FACULTY / STAFF:

ARSU STEP UP CHALLENGE – 1/2/2014 to 1/29/2014: 
This is our 2nd year of the Step Up Challenge!  Each building will track their steps for 4 weeks in JANUARY! 
The total steps will be divided by the number of employees working in the building(s) – so it is important that everyone participate.  You can sign up with your building’s wellness leader (FHU is Deborah Hanson dhanson@arsu.org) and receive a tracking form.  Your weekly steps should be turned in on Friday each week to your wellness leader. 
The building with the most average steps will win!
The winning BUILDING will receive $150 to purchase wellness materials.  This year we will also have individual prizes!
