HOMEWORK SUCCESS PROGRAM DUTY 11/18, - , 20, 21, 22:  (3:10 – 5:30 p.m.)

The schedule will consist of 4 days per week – NO TUESDAY
(When 2 teachers are assigned duty – both are required to be in attendance – TY)

BREAKFAST / LUNCH:   REMEMBER to Deposit Money in your BREAKFAST / LUNCH Account – TY  
 NOTE: Parents / Guardians will have 2 methods to fund their student’s account:    
1)  Go to: www.MySchoolBucks.com – You may set up an online account  using a Credit / Debit card to make deposits into your student’s account. 
2)You may send a check with your student made payable to the Fair Haven School Lunch Program.   
Please include the student’s name in the Memo line.  Cash will also be accepted, however this does slow the lines.

CLASS OF 2014 – TURKEY TROT FUNDRAISER:
SATURDAY – 11/23 – 10 a.m. – FHUHS!  Registrations may be picked up in the FHU Office – or downloaded from this site.  https://sites.google.com/site/fhuhs5kturkeytrot/home   You can also pick up a registration in the Office, or see Mr. Worthing!  A can drive will also be part of the fundraiser!  All canned goods collected will be donated to Fair Haven Concerned.  Proceeds to benefit FH Concerned, and the FHUHS Senior Class.

CHORUS CLASSES meet today. 
REMINDER KEYNOTES – Rehearsal WEDNESDAY morning @ 8 a.m.. 
REMINDER - AUDITIONS for Poor Wayfaring Stranger will be THURSDAY morning @ 8 a.m. – in the Chorus Room. 

CLUB NEWS: 
ART CLUB:  Will begin meeting every  WEDNESDAY after school. 
COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Meet WED & FRIDAY mornings at 8 a.m. – in Ms. Gallagher or Mrs. Nicholson room. 
DIY SCIENCE CLUB:  Specializing in the Amazing World of Scientific Exploration!  THURSDAYS - 3 p.m. in Mr. Worthing’s Room
OVX:  Meet 2nd WEDNESDAYS @ 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.    
POETRY OUT LOUD:  Meets Monday after school in Mrs. Hadeka’s room (120).   All are welcome!
SCHOLARS BOWL:  Meets after school in Mrs. Cornell’s Room.         

COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB NEWS: 
The Community Service Club is sponsoring the writing of letters to members of the military – both home and abroad. 
During T.A. on Wednesday 11/20 students throughout the school will participate in writing letters to the soldiers.

JUNIOR CLASS PROM COMMITTEE MEETING:
The Junior Class PROM committee meeting will be held on WEDNESDAY – 11/20 at 7:30 a.m. in Mrs. Ransom’s Room.

FREE PERTUSSIS (Whooping Cough) VACCINES – For all Adults (19 & older) – TODAY - WEDNESDAY – 11/20 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the RAVNAH Boardroom – 7 Albert Cree Drive – Rutland, VT.  Questions – contact Amy Pfenning (apfenning@rrms.org) or 802-747-3893.  Especiallly important for those who will be in close contact with newborns & young children. 

SCHOOL STORE NEWS:
The SLATE PIT, your Slater School Store – will be OPEN before  school, during Period 5, and 15 minutes after school for your shopping convenience!  Please stop by and see what we have to offer. 

SUMMER SOFTBALL TRAVEL TEAM MEETING:
An age 16 and under ASA fast pitch summer softball team is being formed for girls from the Lakes Region area! 
The purpose of this meeting is to gauge the level of interest as well as to discuss the schedule, costs, fund raising requirements, etc..  See Mr. Ramey if you have any questions.
MEETING to be held today - WEDNESDAY – 11/20 @ 6 p.m. at the Poultney High School

SUPERMARKET BINGO / FYI: 
The Annual SUPERMARKET BINGO will be held on Friday – 11/22 @ St. Mary’s School (Washington Street) in FH! 
DOORS OPEN at 6 p.m.Bingo BEGINS @ 7 p.m..  Middle School will provide food at their concession stand!  There will be no babysitting – ALL CHILDREN should be accompanied by an adultAll proceeds will go to the FH Grade School PTA to help fund special activities.  MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW!!
 Rain, snow, or sleet – we still meet!  No alternative date!     
Don’t forget to bring your LUCKY CHIPS (or use our macaroni!)
