HOMEWORK SUCCESS PROGRAM DUTY 10/7, - , 9, 10, 11:  (3:10 – 5:30 p.m.)

The schedule will consist of 4 days per week – NO TUESDAY
(When 2 teachers are assigned duty – both are required to be in attendance – TY)

BREAKFAST / LUNCH:   REMEMBER to Deposit Money in your BREAKFAST / LUNCH Account – TY  
 NOTE: Parents / Guardians will have 2 methods to fund their student’s account:    
1)  Go to: – You may set up an online account  using a Credit / Debit card to make deposits into your student’s account. 
2)You may send a check with your student made payable to the Fair Haven School Lunch Program.   
Please include the student’s name in the Memo line.  Cash will also be accepted, however this does slow the lines.

Monday – 10/14Meatless Monday!  Cheesy Baked Potato, Dinner Roll, Veggie Sticks w/Dip, Orange Smiles 
WANTED ASAP!!!!  Student needed for babysitting position after school in Fair Haven.  If you drive – a plus!  See Mrs. Ransom for details. 

SATURDAY – 11/23 – 10 a.m. – FHUHS!  Registrations may be picked up in the FHU Office – or downloaded from this site. A can drive will also be part of the fundraiser!  All canned goods collected will be donated to Fair Haven Concerned.  Proceeds to benefit FH Concerned, and the FHUHS Senior Class.   

ART CLUB:  Will begin meeting every  WEDNESDAY after school. 
CADETS:  Meet 1st, 3rd, 4th WEDNESDAYS @ 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.  See Officer Prouty for information. 
COMMUNITY SERVICE:  We will have a SHORT meeting at 8 a.m. – FRIDAY 10/11 in Mrs. Nicholson’s Room (206). 
DIY SCIENCE CLUB:  Specializing in the Amazing World of Scientific Exploration!  THURSDAYS - 3 p.m. in Mr. Worthing’s Room
OVX:  Meet 2nd WEDNESDAYS @ 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.  See Officer Prouty for information. 
POETRY OUT LOUD:  Meets Monday after school in Mrs. Hadeka’s room (120).   All are welcome!
SCHOLARS BOWL:  Meet after school in Mrs. Cornell’s Room.  Please join us!     

Wednesday – 10/30 @ 6:30 p.m. in the FHUHS Cafeteria!!  FREE Admission (donations accepted-these go to support the FHUHS  Band Boosters).  Sign up with Mr. Roach, if you would like to perform – everyone is welcome!!!  Refreshments will be served.  MARK YOUR CALENDAR.

ASVAB:  The ASVAB testing will be held on FRIDAY – 10/25 in Mrs. LaPlaca’s classroom.  See Mrs. Anderson in the Guidance Office to sign up.  TY

Tuesday – 10/15: 10 a.m. – New Hampshire Institute of Art
Wednesday – 10/16: 9 a.m. – Sage Colleges / Wednesday – 10/16: 11 a.m. – University of Maine at Farmington 
Thursday – 10/17: 10:30 a.m. – Middlebury College 

PSAT:  The PSAT is a standardized test that provides practice for the SAT college entrance exam. 
It is also sponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.  It will be given on WEDNESDAY – 10/16 to ALL JUNIORS at no costSophomores may elect to take the exam for a fee of $14due by Friday- October 11. 
There is a limited number of tests available to Sophomores – so please sign up as soon as possible.  TY

FREE PERTUSSIS (Whooping Cough) VACCINES – For all Adults (19 & older) – Coming TUESDAY – 10/15 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the RAVNAH Boardroom – 7 Albert Cree Drive – Rutland, VT.  Questions – contact Amy Pfenning ( or 802-747-3893.  Especiallly important for those who will be in close contact with newborns & young children.

VARSITY & JV GIRLS SOCCER vs Leland & Gray (HOME) / Varsity-LaPlaca – JV-Track / Games 11 a.m.      

Mr. Coley (all decked out in a chef coat & pizza hat!) collected money for the VT Food Bank Wednesday-Friday (10-9-11) near the Custodial Entrance door!  He raised a total of $153.35!!!!  $13.35 of this was loose change!  TY Mr. Coley!

FACS Department (Mrs. Sheldon) BAG/BAKE Sale final total was $162.50WOW!  FHUHS Total Donations = $315.85  TY to everyone for your support.
