HOMEWORK SUCCESS PROGRAM DUTY 9/30, - , 10/2, 10/3, 10/4:  (3:10 – 5:30 p.m.)

The schedule will consist of 4 days per week – NO TUESDAY
(When 2 teachers are assigned duty – both are required to be in attendance – TY)

BREAKFAST / LUNCH:   REMEMBER to Deposit Money in your BREAKFAST / LUNCH Account – TY  
 NOTE: Parents / Guardians will have 2 methods to fund their student’s account:    
1)  Go to: www.MySchoolBucks.com – You may set up an online account  using a Credit / Debit card to make deposits into your student’s account. 
2)You may send a check with your student made payable to the Fair Haven School Lunch Program.   
Please include the student’s name in the Memo line.  Cash will also be accepted, however this does slow the lines.

AFTER SCHOOL LIBRARY SERVICES & HOMEWORK SUCCESS PROGRAM: 

The LIBRARY will be CLOSED Tuesday afternoon (10/1) due to a Faculty Meeting. 
Open Wednesday for our usual hours – 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m..

The Balfour representative will be here again on TUESDAY – 10/1 – BEFORE SCHOOL only – to order Class Rings!  Must have $50 deposit at time of order!  FREE HOODIE!

ART CLUB:  Will begin meeting every  WEDNESDAY after school. 
CADETS:  Meet 1st, 3rd, 4th WEDNESDAYS @ 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.  See Officer Prouty for information. 
DIY SCIENCE CLUB:  Specializing in the Amazing World of Scientific Exploration!  THURSDAYS - 3 p.m. in Mr. Worthing’s Room
OVX:  Meet 2nd WEDNESDAYS @ 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.  See Officer Prouty for information. 
POETRY OUT LOUD:  Meets Monday after school in Mrs. Hadeka’s room (120).   All are welcome!
SCHOLARS BOWL:  Meet after school in Mrs. Cornell’s Room.  Please join us!

ASVAB:  The ASVAB testing will be held on FRIDAY – 10/25 in Mrs. LaPlaca’s classroom.  See Mrs. Anderson in the Guidance Office to sign up.  TY

Tuesday – 10/1:  11 a.m. – University of Vermont 
Thursday – 10/3:  1 p.m. – Southern New Hampshire University 
Friday – 10/4: 9 a.m. – Alfred University / 1 p.m. – Keene State College 

PSAT:  The PSAT is a standardized test that provides practice for the SAT college entrance exam. 
It is also sponsored by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.  It will be given on WEDNESDAY – 10/16 to ALL JUNIORS at no cost
Sophomores may elect to take the exam for a fee of $14due by Friday- October 11. 
There is a limited number of tests available to Sophomores – so please sign up as soon as possible.  TY

There will be NO LATE BUS on Thursday - 10/3!  Sorry for the inconvenience.

BEST COACH CONTEST!
Congratulations to Coach BRIAN GRADY – he has been selected as a State finalist for USA TODAY’s Best High School Football Coach Contest!  The contest opens on Monday – September 30. 
USA Staffers have chosen 8 active head football coaches in each State – after more than a month of conversations with local media and other State/school officials with high school football expertise.  FROM THERE – the FANS will decide which coach emerges from a list of 408!
